Obituary of Clara Hetherington

Clara Hetherington of Calgary passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 94 years. Clara was born on November 2, 1913 in Drumheller, AB. In 1935 she married John Hetherington and the couple continued to live in Drumheller until 1950, when they moved to Calgary, residing there until her death. Clara is survived by her daughter Barbara Tierney; three grandchildren, John Van Meeteren of Calgary, Kevin Van Meeteren of Penticton, BC, Margaret Pettullo of Burnaby, BC; five great-grandchildren; sister Blanch McPherson of Calgary; and brother Ralph Wilkins of Kingston, ON. Clara was predeceased by her husband John in 1961, brother Arthur Wilkins, sister Edith McMillan and son-in-law Alex Tierney. Graveside Services will be held in the Garden of Last Supper at Mountain View Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
