Obituary of Woodrow Andrews

Woodrow (Woody) Andrews, beloved husband of Margaret Andrews of Calgary passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the age of 56 years. Woody was born to Aaron and Florence Andrews on March 28, 1951 in Winterton, Newfoundland. He was raised in Newfoundland, and married Margaret Perry on September 1, 1973. Woody drove truck in Newfoundland prior to moving to Calgary in 1981, where he was employed with K.P Manufacturing for 15 years. Due to his health, Woody retired in 1995. He was a humble family man, dedicated to his wife and children. Besides his loving wife Margaret, Woody will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters and their families, Kelley Andrews and Justin Whittaker, Michelle and Troy Davies, and Nancy and Jim Gunn, all of Calgary; nine grandchildren, Ashleigh, Jeffrey, Michael, Gavin, Jessica, Ashley, Jennifer, Julia and AJ; mother-in-law Mary Perry; his brother Glynn and sister-in-law Laurie Andrews, their daughter Megan, and sister Cynthia and brother-in-law Phil Petten and their daughters Tammy and Lisa, all of Newfoundland; and his nephew David Ford of Calgary. Woody was predeceased by his parents Aaron and Florence, and father-in-law Gordon Perry. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Wednesday January 16, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday January 17, 2008 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be held at Salvation Army Glenmore Temple (921 68 Avenue SW) on Thursday January 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
