Obituary of Vivian Florence Smith

It is with sadness, tenderness and great love that we announce Vivian (Viv) Smith of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2008, at Rockyview General Hospital, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 82 years. Vivian loved her family so much, especially her beloved husband of forty years, Francis (Frank) Law Smith, who died August 11, 2000. Vivian is survived by her children Monica Kilburn Smith and Graeme Smith of Calgary and Bev (Greg) Wieben of Fairview, AB; grandchildren Emma, Jacki, Dan and Genny; sister Norma (Rod) Caverly of Oakville, ON; niece Alexandra (Richard) Caverly-Lowery of Toronto; sisters-in-law Isabel Kilburn of Montreal and Connie Hardacre of England; niece Susan (Enda) Mulvihill of Ireland and nephew Roger (Helen) Hardacre of England and their children; and great-niece Cynthia Tan (nee Nipper) and great-nephew Scott Nipper and their children. . Besides her husband Frank, Vivian is predeceased by her brother Ronald Kilburn and niece Kathy Nipper (nee Kilburn).
