Obituary of Don Morrison Wilson

We sadly announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather at the Sarcee Hospice on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the age of 85 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Don was born and raised in Calgary and served five years with the RCAF during World War II and was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch # 264 for many years. Don enjoyed golfing, skiing, camping at Sylvan Lake and River Ridge and happy hour as well as his many hours in his workshop creating wooden masterpieces. Don and Audrey spent many years travelling by motor home throughout Canada, and the United States finally settling down for the winter months in Mesa, AZ. Besides his beloved wife of fifty-eight years Audrey, Don is survived by two sons Dennis (Brenda) and Brent (Karen), a daughter Debbie (Gord), grandchildren, Mike, Jen, Stacey (Dave), Tanya, Kelsey and Carlee, brother-in-law Bill (Jocelyn) Melanie and by numerous relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at McInnis and Holloway’s Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive South West) on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
