Obituary of Kelvin Goetz

Kelvin Arthur Goetz of Calgary passed away peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the age of 44 years. Kelvin was born in Thompson, MB and moved to Calgary with his family at the age of two. After high school he was employed by the 264 Legion for twelve years and then changed careers, starting work in the mail service industry as a machine operator with Worldwide Direct, and was employed by Critical Document Services (CDS) at the time of his illness. Kelvin enjoyed watching sports and playing darts with friends. He never shied away from lending a helping hand to family, friends or the community. Kelvin will be lovingly missed by his parents, Robert and Joyce Goetz; his sister Angela (Randy) Gregory; his brother Darrell (Jennifer) Goetz; his daughters Amanda and Tanya Goetz and granddaughter Sydney Parker. He will also be missed by his niece Rachel, nephews James, Joshua and Micheal, all of Calgary; maternal grandmother Emma St. Germain of Roblin, MB and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
