Obituary of Mark Arthur Stone

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Stone of Calgary. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mark left us on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 with his loving family and close friends by his side. Mark was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK where he attended the University of Saskatchewan and obtained his Civil Engineering Degree. While there he met and married his loving wife of twenty-eight years Cindy. Mark and Cindy then moved to Calgary to pursue their careers. While here, Mark fathered two wonderful sons, Chris and Dylan. He was a kind and caring person who was always known for his humour and good nature. Mark was very loved and will be missed by his wife Cindy; his two sons, Chris and Dylan; his brother and sister-in-law Stuart and Jerre; sisters, Allison and Carol; nieces Jessica and Cheryl; mother-in-law Frances and her husband Roman Jendrasheske; sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Sheldon Shumay; and very close friends Robin and Jim Wickson. He also leaves to mourn many more good friends and relatives in both Calgary and Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his loving mother Eileen.
