Obituary of Alice Maisie Runions

Alice “Maisie” Runions of Calgary passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Born in Campbellford, ON, Alice married John “Jack” Runions on August 16, 1941. For many years she worked for an optometrist, Dr. Kirk. Maisie loved the outdoors, having a deep appreciation for nature and the solitude of the seasons. This love was further expressed through many memorable hours spent boating and fishing with her husband, Jack. A devoted wife, Maisie dearly missed their time spent together, following his passing. Maisie is survived by her brother-in-law Thomas “Fred” (Barb) Runions; and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. She was predeceased by her husband Jack and her parents, Walter and Mae Scott. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Union Cemetery at a later date.
