Obituary of Richard Petersen

Rick Petersen, “Bumpa” beloved husband of Lynn Petersen of Airdrie, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the age of 59 years. Rick was born in Olds, AB and married Lynn Christensen on September 21, 1968, also in Olds. He was a Police Officer for CP Rail for thirty years, retiring as a Detective Sergeant. Lynn and Rick enjoyed many trips to the southern US in their RV after his retirement. Besides his loving wife Lynn, Rick is remembered by two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Stephanie of Calgary and Derek and Kristen of Vancouver; grandson Richard; a large extended family, many friends and his buddy Boots.
