Obituary of Dubbie Huck
Florence B. (Dubbie) Huck of Calgary passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007.
Dubbie was born in Abernethy, SK and attended school in Saskatchewan and for three years in England. She graduated from Port Arthur General Hospital school of nursing in 1945. Dubbie married Robert C. Huck on February 10, 1945 in Port Arthur and resided for a short period in Quebec City, prior to moving to Alberta later that same year. Dubbie was active in curling and playing bridge for many years.
Dubbie is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Bradley and Colette Huck, Randy and Angie Huck; two daughters and sons-in-law Beverley and Mario Savoia and Pam and Don Fofonoff, all of Calgary. She is also remembered by her ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren Damian (Geriann) Huck and their son Grayson; Andrea Huck; Matthew (Christa) Savoia and their daughter Natalie; Marc (Trisha) Savoia and their children Jaden and Mackenzie; Robert Savoia; Lisa (Emilio) Provenzano and their sons Lorenzo and Anthony; Nancee (Peter) Nayoski; Jared Fofonoff (Lisa); Nicole, Madyson Huck and numerous nieces and nephews. Dubbie was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1996 and her siblings.
Graveside Service will be held at Edenbrook Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
