Obituary of Colleen Joan Leckie

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Joan Leckie on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the age of 53 years. Colleen was born in Hamilton, ON and moved to Calgary in December 1987. She was a remarkable wife and soul mate to her husband of thirty-seven years, a loving mother and grandmother, and an inspiration to all those who met her, never letting her own issues bring down those around her . She was truly a fighter to the very end. We will miss you dearly. God has added a special angel to his team. Colleen is survived by her husband Bob; her two sons, Sean and Matthew Leckie; two grandchildren Brenna and Mya Butler-Leckie; daughter-in-law Angela Butler; mother Diane Koocher of Stoney Creek; sisters, Linda Kennedy and Tracey Harvey; brothers, Bill and Fred Koocher; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
