Obituary of Herbert Anhorn

Herbert Anhorn, beloved husband of Clara Anhorn of Airdrie passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Herbert was born in Hatton, SK on July 17, 1922. On March 20, 1946 he married the love of his life, Clara Schlaht. They settled in the Golden Prairie area and together they farmed for the next twenty-three years after which time they moved to Calgary, AB in 1969 and in 1988 retired to Airdrie. Herbert leaves to cherish his memory, wife Clara; sons Donald (Sharon) of Calgary and Dwain of Airdrie, daughters Debbie (Steve) Braun of Calgary and Melanie (Bill) Helgeson of Castlegar, BC; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther (Hilbert) Flaig, and Edna Schneider, both of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Johanna Anhorn. Airdrie, Alberta) on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Airdrie Cemetery.
