Obituary of Leo Wedro

Leo Wedro of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Leo will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He was a long standing member of the House of Jacob and the B’nai Brith. Leo will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and by the community. Leo is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Fania, his son Ben and his family, and by his daughter Eleanor and her family. Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.,) on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Cemetery adjacent to the New Chapel. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice.
