Obituary of Elaine Leona Tabor

Elaine Leona Tabor of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Elaine was born on June 25, 1930 in Renfrew, ON to Harry and Nellie Pierce. Elaine enjoyed a career with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1949-1954 and was proud of her service. She had a long career working in various administration positions until she retired when she was fifty-five. Elaine married Cecil (Shag) Tabor in 1953. She moved to Calgary to be with her family in July, 1980 and spent most of the rest of her life in Western Canada. Elaine is remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Eleanor Tabor of Calgary and her daughter and son-in-law Pam and Bob Snea of Airdrie. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Kelly, Adam, Chantelle and Justin and her sisters Joan and Marilyn.
