Obituary of Clement John Meichel

Clement (Clem) John Meichel passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved sweetheart Victoria and family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 07, at the age of 85, years. Clem was born on May 21, 1922 in Arbury, SK, to Marcella and Steven Meichel. After serving in the Canadian Army in WW2, he courted and married Victoria Nebogie in Drumheller AB. Clem accomplished many things in his life including owning and running a restaurant, hotel, house painting company and collecting valuable antique treasures. Clem leaves behind to mourn his loving wife Victoria; children, Daniel (Freela), Kenneth, David (Nann), and Katherine (Paul); grandchildren, Oneah, Fawn, Meadow, Nathan (Britt), Willow, and Terra; step-grandchildren, Holly, and Johanna; and great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dylan and Jonas. In addition to many relatives and great friends. He was pre-deceased by his mother, father and brother Frank. A Celebration of Clem’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle, N.W.) on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
