Obituary of Mary Altvater

Mary Altvater, beloved wife of forty-nine years to Fred Altvater of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Mary was born in Portage la Prairie, MB on June 24, 1928. She worked in the family business of Auto Repair Square for forty years. Mary was a very kind and compassionate person with an outgoing personality. Besides her loving husband Fred, Mary is survived by, her daughter Rae, her son and daughter-in-law Ritchie and Yvette, by her grandson Harry, and her friends and extended family. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Winnie McDonald of Portage la Prairie, MB and Ethel Lamania of New Jersey, and by Mary’s nieces and nephews.
