Obituary of Mary Ellen Kemp

Mary Kemp passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the age of 94 years. Born on August 28, 1913 in Hutton, AB, Mary spent her childhood in Southern Alberta and all of her adult life in Calgary. Mary spent 58 happy years of marriage to Jack who passed away in 2001. They raised three children: Ray, Pat and Jackie and were grandparents to Leslie, Joanne, Jeff, Michael, Andrea and Jason. Mary was also a proud great-grandmother to Heather, Chris, Alyssa, Austin, and Seth and was blessed last fall with the birth of great-great-granddaughter, Riley. Mary will be fondly remembered by her family for her gentle, good-natured manner, her infectious laughter and thoughtfulness. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
