Obituary of Kenneth Rauwerda

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Kenneth Rauwerda beloved husband of Anne, of Calgary, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2007 at the age of 87. Ken was born in Bergum, Friesland, Holland July 20, 1920 and moved to Canada with his family in 1952. Ken had a true artist’s spirit, loved nature and was always ready for an adventure. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Anne, his children Josie, Grace (Wayne) and Mark (Kathy), his step children Silvia (Michael), Dianne (Mike) and Gwen (Cy), his brother Johannes and his family, fourteen grandchildren and three great grand-children, as well as his extended family. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:30p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
