Obituary of Dennis Gordon Williams

After a long and courageous struggle with Parkinson’s disease, Dennis passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Thursday, November 29, 2007. Born in Pontypridd, South Wales, Dennis immigrated to Canada in 1968. Working in the oil industry as an electrical engineer, he travelled throughout Europe, the Middle East and Canada. Dennis enjoyed the company of good friends and in his later years, at the Beverly Centre – Glenmore, he derived much pleasure exploring the new frontiers of the computer world. Besides his loving wife, Alice, Dennis will be remembered by his son Allen, his partner Leanne and her daughter Alexandra, all of Calgary; his son Philip and his partner Claire of Honolulu, HI; as well as his sister Lillian, nephew David and his wife Ginny all of England. A Gathering will be held in the Reception Centre at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, December 3, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
