Obituary of Dallas H. Felix
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dal (Pops) on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the age of 70 years.
Born October 5, 1937 in Cold Lake and raised in what was known as Felix’s Hill on the southwest shore of Cold Lake, he will be remembered for his great kindness, honesty and wit. His involvement throughout the oil industry for over fifty years earned him the respect of many friends and a source of many favourite stories.
Besides being a loving husband of forty-nine years to Hilma, Dal was also father to Terri (Myles), Brent (Isabelle), Rhonda (Ross), Dallas (Michele) and Derek (Michele), grandfather of ten and a great-grandfather of four. He is survived by his sisters, Kay (Alfred) of Calgary, Brenda of Edmonton, his aunt Irma of Stony Plain, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Eddie and Nellie, and his sister Sharon.
A Celebration of Dal’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
