Obituary of Claude Douglas Fitzgibbon

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Claude, whilst on vacation in Florida, on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Claude grew up in Toronto and later moved to Port Hope, Ontario where he had a law practice. After moving to Calgary in 1981, he became a commercial realtor. Claude was an active member of the Kiwanis Club, both in Port Hope and in Calgary. He recently celebrated his seventy-eighth birthday in Victoria with his grandchildren. Claude is survived by his long time companion Norma Jensen; daughter and son-in-law Jackie Moss and Jim Riley and his two sons and daughters-in-law Jamey and Rhonda Fitzgibbon and Jeff Fitzgibbon and Penny Salmas. Claude is also survived by his grandchildren Teddy and Alistair, Christopher and Katie and Chloe and Julian.
