Elvera was born in Austria, immigrated to Canada at the age of nine and settled with her family in Regina where she met Michael; a marriage that lasted over sixty-two years. Ellie will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be fondly remembered for her love of dance, music, picnics, gardening, mountain hikes, family gatherings and her exceptional cuisine. Ellie will always be cherished and remembered by her loving husband and family.

She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Michael and Hazel Bernreiter of London, ON and by several nieces and nephews and their families.
