Obituary of William Ross Horne

William (Bill) Ross Horne, of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Bill was an adventurer, he lived all over the world, and he loved to hike and ski in the mountains. You could most often find Bill fly-fishing on a spectacular river. Bill was a kind, compassionate, caring and genuine man. He was always willing to help someone in what ever way he could. He was the pillar of strength and support for his family and friends to lean on. Although he is gone, the legacy he left will continue to live on in the lives he has touched. Bill will be deeply missed. Bill leaves to mourn his two daughters, Jody Baker and Corrie Horne, and his two sisters, Liz and Joan Horne.
