Obituary of Grace Tobin

Grace Tobin passed away peacefully in Calgary on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the age of 97 years. Grace was an elegant and independent woman, a great cook, an avid reader and had a passion for gardening. She lived a full life and we all enjoyed hearing her amazing stories. Her sense of humour was always present and is something that all who knew her will surely miss. Grace will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Ruthanne Price; her grandchildren Kathleen, Colleen, Stanley, Tobin, Michael and Maureen, who affectionately knew her as “Da”; her sixteen great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Also left to mourn is her best friend and loving sister, Florence. Grace was a special aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and she will be especially missed by Louise and Betty who helped her so much when she was living in Ontario. Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband John Tobin in 1975; her sister Helen; and her brothers George, Charlie and Art. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
