Obituary of Betty Sundberg
Betty N Sundberg (nee Pilger) beloved wife of Mr. Grant Sundberg of Calgary, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2007 at the age of 71.
Betty was born on February 20, 1936 in Camrose, Alberta. She was a registered nurse who took her schooling through the Edmonton General Hospital and graduated in 1957. Betty was married on June 4, 1966 to Grant Sundberg. Her passions were golfing, gardening, bridge, fishing and camping.
Besides her loving husband Grant, she is also survived by her children Mark and Joan of Calgary, her brothers; Kurt (Helen) Pilger, Dick (Hazel) Pilger, her sisters; Kay (Walter) Shaw, Rita (Gene) Wolski, and her brother-in-law Dennis Day. Betty was predeceased by her parents Emil and Kathe Pilger, her brother Hans Pilger and her sister Doris Day.
Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 2:30p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
