Obituary of Patricia Elizabeth Rodriguez

Patricia Elizabeth (Patty) Rodriguez (nee Hinckley), beloved wife of Hugh Rodriguez of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Patty was born March 29, 1929 in Stavley, AB. She married Hugh on June 25, 1955 and received her education in Stavley, AB and Kansas, U.S.A. She attended Henderson Business College and worked as an executive assistant for the Royal Bank of Canada, retiring in 1985 after 22 years of service. Patty loved dancing, especially ballroom dancing, and enjoyed travelling throughout the world with her husband Hugh. Patty gave very generously to many charities and volunteered for the United Way. Besides her loving husband Hugh, Patty leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Dolores (Roy) Baldick and Hope (Cyd) Risdahl, both of Calgary; nephews Brent (Patty) Hinckley of Lethbridge, Stephen (Karon) Baldick of Calgary, Gregory (Jan) Baldick of Kelowna, and Peter Risdahl of Calgary; her niece Shelley (David) Blackadar of Calgary and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Royal Blair Hinckley and Bessie Hinckley; and her two brothers William Marcus and Robert Hinckley. A Celebration of Patty’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle, N.W.) on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
