Obituary of Miriam Lena Johnson

Miriam Johnson of Calgary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, November 12, 2007 at the age of 73 years. Miriam was born in Port Arthur, Ontario and moved to Red Deer when she was three years old. In 1956 she graduated from nursing in Lamont, AB. In Grade 11 she met the love of her life, Garth and in 1957 he proposed to her, and they spent the next fifty wonderful years together. Miriam was the most loving and caring mother who dedicated her life to her four children. Miriam is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law Bradley and Kathy, Craig and Lynn, Blair; her daughter Shari and her seven grandchildren Darren, Brett, Kyley, Brock, Zack, Connor and Jessica. She is also survived by her sister Arlene and her brother Hugh. Miriam was predeceased by her husband Garth in August, 2007. In honour of Miriam’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held in celebration of her life. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
