Obituary of Kathleen Alice Walker

Kathleen Alice Walker of Calgary passed away after a long battle with cancer, with her family by her side, on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Kathleen was born and raised in Hanna, moving to Exshaw in 1947. She moved to Banff and then retired in Calgary in 1973. Kathleen was one independent lady, however, she was always the strength of her family. We will miss her deeply now that she is retiring in peace. Kathleen is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Lauretta and John Pedhirney of Calgary, Kathy Walker and Garry of Salmon Arm, BC; and her son and daughter-in-law Ken and Linda Walker of Balgonie, SK. She is also survived by her brother Bill Roberts of Ontario; her seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Kathleen was predeceased by her mother Kathleen and her father Bill, her sister Lucille and son Tom in 1999. There will be no Funeral Service as per mom’s wishes.
