Obituary of Bernice Irene Radke
Bernice Irene Radke of Calgary passed away on November 4, 2007 at the age of 84 years.
Bernice was born on July 7, 1923 in Medicine Hat, AB. Bernice was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. She also enjoyed music, being herself an accomplished pianist. Bernice’s family was of the greatest importance to her and she especially loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games with her family and her competitive nature always made the games more interesting. Bernice was a faithful member of the Glamorgan Church of God.
Bernice is remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Lorne and Wendy Radke of Red Deer, AB; her four daughters and two sons-in-law, Dolores and Kris Reynolds of Sechelt, BC, Carol and Ron Mesiatowsky of Airdrie, AB, Marlene Radke, and Judy Gray both of Calgary, AB; her five grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren. Bernice is also survived by her five brothers and sisters-in-law Lloyd and Charlotte, Roy and Ida, Elmer and Thelma, Howard and Sandra and Don and Martha Hildebrand. Bernice was predeceased by her husband Rudolf (July 14, 2007); her parents Fred and Rosie Hildebrand; her sister Violet and her brothers Clarence, Leonard and Leo.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, November 9, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:30.p.m. Funeral Services will be held at The Glamorgan Church of God (4715 – 45th Street S.W.) on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 12:00 noon. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
