Obituary of Marilyn Gertrude Clauson

Marilyn Gertrude Clauson wife of Norm Clauson of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Marilyn was born on June 21, 1936 in Winnipeg, MB. She resided in Prince Albert and Edmonton prior to moving to Calgary as a young adult. Marilyn married Norm on July 7, 1956 in Calgary and has resided here since. She was involved with the family business Clauson’s Three Temperature Storage until they sold it. Marilyn and Norm enjoyed many winters at their home in Scotsdale, AZ. Seven years ago they moved to Chestermere. Besides her loving husband Norm, Marilyn is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Ross and Lori Clauson of Innisfail, AB and Barry Clauson of Calgary, AB; by her daughter and son-in-law Cathy and Mark Coels and by daughter Nancy Clauson and her fiance Bob Fernuk, all of Calgary, AB. She will be lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, Jeff, Ashley, Jarret, Darcy and Adrian and by her great-grandson Austin. Marilyn is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Gerri and Chuck Wanlin of Victoria BC and Wendy and Jim Courchesne of Calgary, AB. She was predeceased by her parents and by her sister Leslie McCartney.
