Obituary of Harold Louis Donovan

Harold Donovan, beloved husband of 42 years and soul mate of Marlene, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the age of 65 years at Sarcee Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. A well liked and respected oilman, Harold was a loving family man. Besides his wife and soul mate, Marlene, Harold is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Andrew) Holden, Wanda Cooper and her friend Brent; one son, Todd Donovan; his grandchildren, Cassidy, Sydney, Devon, Scott, Logan and Zoe, who were the shining stars in his life. He is also survived by his mother Clara Donovan of Rimbey, AB; four sisters, Pat (Dale) Hillman of Red Deer, Mary (Doug) Munro of Anaheim, CA, Sheila Carlson and her friend Eric of Red Deer, and Helen (Don) Twa of Provost, AB; two brothers, Phil (Cathy) Donovan of Floral Park, NY, and Dave (Shelley) Donovan of Edmonton. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Hertha Ensminger of Ponoka; and brothers-in-law, Dennis (Eileen) Ensminger of Ponoka and Raymond (Donelle) Ensminger of Edmonton; as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Harold is predeceased by his father Mike; two brothers, Johnny and Donald; his father-in-law Otto and his sister-in-law Joyce.
