Obituary of Shirley Ann Clarke

Surrounded by her family, Shirley Clarke joyfully went home to meet her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the age of 67 years. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bob Clarke. Much loved Mom of Greg Clarke, John and Jacquie Clarke and Grandma to precious little Benjamin Robert Clarke, all of Calgary. She is also survived by two brothers and their wives, Gord and Lorrie Scalzo and Steve and Joyce Scalzo of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Sophie Scalzo of Thunder Bay Ontario, Bob’s parents Herbert and Margaret Clarke of Waterloo, Ontario, and Howie and Shirley Caughill, Bob’s sister of Waterloo, Ontario. Shirley was a long-time member of Midpark Christian Assembly. She served on the Stewardship Council and on the Inn from the Cold committee. She was actively involved in Reflections, a women’s group at Midpark, and served on the committee. Shirley was actively involved in Christian Women’s and served in several capacities including Chairperson. Her greatest joy was being Grandma to little Ben. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at Midpark Christian Assembly (260 Midpark Blvd. S.E.) on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments to follow.
