Obituary of Dolina MacKinnon

Dolina “Dolly” MacKinnon of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the age of 84 years. She was born on the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Dolly trained as a psychiatric nurse at Hawkhead Hospital in Glasgow before coming to Canada as a war bride. Dolly is survived by her daughters Olivia (Don), Claire, Shiela (Carl) and Michele; sons Mikal, Ross (Charlotte), Ian, Douglas (Jane) and Glenn (Belinda). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Derek, Tracey, Susan, Heather, Bradley, Bonnie, Tristan, Caeligh, Ryan, Danny and Berrick as well as her great-grandchildren, Shelby and Daine. Dolly was predeceased by her son Grant in 1973, her son Roy in 2004 and her son Graham in 2007.
