Obituary of Allan Wong

Allan Wong passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday, October 26, 2007 at the age of 77 years in Calgary, AB. Allan was born on October 20, 1930 in the province of Guangdong, China. His many years of business experience culminated with his roles as the Clubhouse Manager for both the Cranbrook and Kimberley Golf Courses. During these several decades, he developed a passion for the sport. He loved travelling with friends to many local tournaments, and golfed almost daily during the season. Allan also treasured his frequent trips to Las Vegas with his son or friends. In the winter, he enjoyed contributing as a long-time member of the Cranbrook Colonels. Besides his devoted wife of forty-seven years, Rose, Allan is also survived by his loving son Kevin of Calgary, AB, whose academic and professional accomplishments were a particular source of pride. A resident of Cranbrook for over fifty years, Allan also leaves behind many cherished lifelong friends. At Allan’s request no Funeral Services will be held.
