Obituary of Bence Fixler

Bence Fixler of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Born in Torun, Czechoslovakia, he came to Canada in 1951 with his beloved wife Alena, choosing to settle in Calgary in 1953. Bence was well known in the Calgary business community and spent many years in the hotel business. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted family-man and a tireless worker by his wife Alena; son and daughter-in-law, George and Lily Fixler; and grandchildren Sharoni, Yossi and Ari.
