Obituary of Orland Sherwood Stevens

Orland Sherwood Stevens of Siksika Nation, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2007, at the age of 43 years. Orland is survived by his mother, Vera; his siblings Jennifer (Allan) Medicine Traveller, Bryan (Jeanette), Myrna (Gerald), Sharon (Curtis), Alexis (Sam), Mary Ann, Rocky and Gwendora (Robert) Bear Chief; nephews Donovan, Clayton, Patrick (Tara), Mickey (Livia), Nicholas (Raye), Franklin (Courtney), Aaron, Jason, Rae Jai, Warren (Tracy); nieces Krista, Carrie (Jason), Aquina (Ira), Chris-Anne, Nicole (Darrin) and Jill (Malcolm). Also brothers Frank (Theresa), Wally (Vivian), Jackie (Joyce), Allan, Michael and Walter (Linda); his sister Florence and numerous great-nephews and nieces. Orland is also remembered from families of Kainai Nation. Orland was predeceased by his father Harry, paternal grandparents Alec and Martha Stevens and maternal grandparents Jack and Albertine Low Horn and brothers Alvin and Rennie. Wake Services will be held at the home of Vera Stevens, Siksika Nation, on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Siksika, Nation. on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m Graveside Service to follow in Paul Littlewalker Cemetery.
