Obituary of Andrew Barclay Welliver

WELLIVER – Andrew Barclay June 14, 1927 – October 20, 2007 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Andrew Barclay Welliver, of Calgary, on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Andy was born in Red Deer on June 14, 1927 but has lived in Calgary for the past fifty years. His greatest joy in life was his family. Every one of us will miss his humour and his generosity. He has left a huge hole in the hearts of his wife of sixty years Betty; his daughter and son-in law Wendy and Dean Jorden; sons and daughters-in-law Roger and Jude Welliver, Kevan and Sandy Welliver and Brad and Karey Welliver; eight grandchildren Sean, Ryan, Joel, Michelle, Steve, Mandy, Austin and Mason; four great-grandchildren Colby, Marcus, Maddy and Savannah; one niece Megan Cornhill; brother and sister-in-law Doug and Nola Welliver as well as many special friends. Andy was predeceased by his parents Kay and Jean and son Gregg. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Red Deer Cemetery.
