Obituary of Robert Berry
Robert Berry, beloved husband of Barbara, of Calgary passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the age of 54 years.
Robert was born and lived his entire life in Calgary with the exception of one year when he lived in Edmonton with his Uncle John to attend the University of Alberta in Chemical Engineering. He and his wife Barb decided early in their marriage that he would stay home to raise and mentor their boys. This was his greatest and most gratifying role. During this time, Robert spent his spring and summers working as a greens keeper at the Calgary Golf and Country Club, which led to his new found passion of golfing with his wife.
Robert’s legacy was his love of music, electric trains and oil painting. The many people who have received a painting as a gift will always cherish the love he put into his art. He loved the simple life and died as he lived, enjoying nature and the people around him.
Robert leaves to mourn his wife and soul mate of thirty-three years, Barb, his sons Jonathon and Nicholas, his sister Patricia (Dale), and his brothers David (Liz), Richard (Gail) and Fred (Diane). Robert was predeceased by his mother Margaret and father David.
