Obituary of Konrad Giebelhaus

Konrad Giebelhaus of Calgary passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the age of 87 years. Konrad was a well respected and passionate individual in the community and the church. He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Konrad was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-six years on April 9, 2007. He is survived by his children, Irene Wirzba of Calgary, Bill and Karen Giebelhaus of Sherwood Park, Dan and Ingrid Giebelhaus, Ralph Giebelhaus, Sylvia and Ed Owad and Bob and Colleen Giebelhaus, all of Calgary; his twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Konrad was predeceased by his parents and son-in-law, Gunther Wirzba. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Renfrew Baptist Church (1204 Renfrew Drive N.E.) on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
