Obituary of Robert Gordon Stockall

Robert Stockall, beloved father of Holly of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Generous to a fault, Bob was always there for family, friends and his favourite causes which included volunteering for the Firewagon Chuckwagon Team, Heritage Park as well as Holly’s swim and running clubs. Bob was also a proud participant of college and semi-pro football teams, and ran in sixteen marathons. Besides his loving daughter, Holly, Bob is survived by his wife Heather; his sister and brother-in-law Barb and Ian Gilchrist of Red Deer, AB; his nephew Todd (Judy) Gilchrist and their children Connor and Madison of Sherwood Park, AB; his two sisters-in-law Mary-Gail Bodnaruk, Wendy Edwards, and their families of North Vancouver; and Heather’s huge family from British Columbia. Bob was predeceased by his parents Edwin and Isabella; his special aunt Barbara Baker; and his special cousin Doreen Riley. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
