Obituary of Hubert Josef Sojak

Hubert Josef Sojak, formerly of Calgary, passed away in Cochrane on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the age of 83 years. He was born in Brattersdorf, Czechoslovakia. After immigrating to Canada in 1951, Hubert worked at the Baker Memorial Sanatorium, Hudson’s Bay Company and The Canadian Western Natural Gas Company, retiring in 1986. Hubert is survived by his son John (Debbie); his brother Emil (Sumperk, Czech Republic); and his nephew Peter Wolf (Karlsruhe, Germany). At Hubert’s request no Services will be held.
