Obituary of Arthur Roberts

Arthur (Ken) Roberts beloved husband of Eleanore, of Cochrane passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Ken was born and raised in Calgary, and completed high school at Western Canada High. He rushed to join the Navy after school, settling down after WWII in Calgary to raise his family. In 1967, Ken moved his family to the Cochrane area on Lochend Road. He retired to Victoria, BC in 1980, owning and operating the Tudor Sweet Shop, returning to Cochrane in 1992 to be with family. Survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Eleanore Roberts; sons, Doug (Marlene), Bruce (Robyn), Cameron, and Stewart (Jennifer); and daughters, Susan (Duncan) and Louise (Hugh). He was the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Elizabeth, Ian, Savannah, Cody, Keely, Tyson, Sean and Erin. Ken was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Beatrice Roberts, his first wife Isabelle Jack, sisters Margaret, Dorothy, Ruby, Pearl and Bunny and his son Howard.
