Obituary of Joan Evelyn Howard

Joan Evelyn Howard of Calgary passed away suddenly on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the age of 71 years. Joan was born on April 18, 1936 in Saskatchewan. She graduated from nursing school in Winnipeg and spent many years in private practice prior to becoming Unit Manager at Calgary General Hospital. During her retirement years Joan enjoyed playing bridge and cribbage as well as getting together with family and friends. Joan is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Skip Howard of Vancouver, BC, Peter and Theresa Howard of Calgary; two grandchildren, Kellan and Laken Howard; and a brother and sister-in-law Bill and June Taylor of Halifax, NS.
