Obituary of Violet Teo Bondoc
Violeta Tio Bondoc, beloved wife of Enrique, of Calgary passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the age of 64 years.
Violeta was born on October 19, 1942 in Capas, Tarlac, Philippines. She married Enrique on September 27, 1962. Violeta spent most of her life farming with her husband. They opened a convenience store in Balibago, Angeles City in 1976 until 1983. Violeta supervised a farm and a store in Palau, Micronesia with Enrique for five years. A devoted mother, her life centred in helping those in need, and not be a burden to anyone.
Besides her loving husband Enrique, Violeta is survived by her children and their spouses, Nympha Bondoc, Elmer (Cecerie) Bondoc, Gloria (Rodel) Diwa, Elite Bondoc, and Dianne Bondoc; four grandchildren; Chloe, Chelsea, CJ, and Simon; as well as eight siblings, Maximino Tio, Nenita Santos, Benito Tio Jr., Lita Manalungsung, Monica Lusung, Celestina Amando, Catalina Santiago, and Corazon Millan. Violeta was predeceased by her mother Baldomera Guinto, father Benito Tio, sister Rosita Tio, and son Enrique Bondoc Jr.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, September 26, 28 and 29, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle, N.W.) on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
