Obituary of Peter Matthew Baayens

Peter Baayens, beloved husband of Jackie Baayens of Airdrie, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the age of 65 years. Pete is lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-five years, Jackie. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humour and passion for fly fishing. Pete is survived by his son Jim (Gemma) and daughters Michele (Chris) and Janet. Opa’s six grandchildren, Matthew, Tanner, Erin, Conrad, Logan and Christiane were his pride and joy and he leaves with them many precious memories. Pete will also be missed by his two brothers and four sisters, aunts, numerous nieces and nephews as well as family overseas. A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at 2:00p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
