Obituary of Eileen Jeanet Worsfold

Eileen Worsfold, of Calgary, passed away on September 25, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Eileen was born on January 17, 1930 in Edson, Alberta. Through out her life she lived in Wolf Creek, Edson, Jasper, Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary. In each town or city that she lived in she found numerous careers which she loved and enjoyed. Eileen was a proud member of the Easter Star. Her passion was helping people with anything that they needed. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, cleaning or cooking or at retirement homes, where she would talk with and provide company to the elderly women within the home. Playing bingo, scrabble, crib or knitting was what she enjoyed doing in her spare time. Eileen will be remembered by all who have known her for her wonderful cinnamon buns, her sense of humour, her unique curling talent and for the love that she showed to all of those around her. She will be forever remembered and loved. Eileen is survived by both her son and daughter Wayne of Kelowna B.C. and Marilyn (Rob) Keating of Kamloops B.C.; her four grandchildren Kori (Mike) Creighton, Terri (Derek) Keating, Heather Keating and Aaron Keating. She is also survived by her two sisters Linda (Ken) Hammell of Oliver B.C. and Glenda James of Quesnel B.C. Her sister-in-law Pat Arbuckle of Edmonton, AB and her dear friend Pat Sommers. Eileen is predeceased by her parents Annie and James and by her one brother Ken Arbuckle.
