Obituary of Elda Jean Moriarty

Elda Jean Moriarty (nee Bulmer) beloved wife of Brian Moriarty, of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Elda was born in Carman, MB and lived in Winnipeg, MB before moving to Calgary, AB in 1963. An accomplished pianist Elda loved to laugh, sing, recite poetry and “Waking Ned Devine”. She will always be remembered as a gentle, loving and devoted mother and wife and will be missed by all who ever knew her. Besides her loving husband Brian, Elda is survive by her daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Andy; her son and daughter-in-law Jason and Sheryl, of Papua New Guinea; grandchildren Molly, Ella and Quinn; also two sisters Eleanor and Colleen of Winnipeg, MB. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law and cousins. Elda was predeceased by her daughter Maria in 1964, her sister Marguerite, and her parents Merle and Clayton. A Memorial Services will be held at Calgary Church of Christ (4030 Maryvale Drive N.E.) on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:00 p.m. Interment will be held in Carman, MB on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
