Obituary of Alice Miriam Flynn

Alice Miriam Flynn of Calgary passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Born in North Bay, ON on January 22, 1915, Alice devoted her working life to teaching. Following her retirement in 1974 she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Alice will be dearly missed by her loving daughter and son-in-law Donna and Lorne Meckling; her grandchildren Steven (Marilyn) Rathje, Kari Hall, Sheri (David) Williams; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle, N.W.) on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
