James Mallarky

Obituary of James Buchanan Mallarky

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our amazing father and partner Jim Mallarky on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Jim was born in Glasgow, Scotland on August 11, 1942 to Mae and James. He began his travels in life to Florida, the Channel Islands, and then came to Canada in 1966. Jim was employed in Real Estate for thirty-three years. He was past President of the Alberta and Calgary Rugby Union. Jim loved his church, attending religiously at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, always feeling that prayer started him off to a good day. He will be sorely missed by all. Jim leaves behind his loving family, son Mark Mallarky; daughter Suzanne (Steve) Buffel; soon-to-be first grandson; Doreen Mallarky; and the love of his life Annette Nocher and her daughters, Danelle Cini and Chantelle Cini. He is also survived by his mother Mae of Glasgow; brother Deryk (Susan) Mallarky of Glasgow; sister Moira (Todd) Hughes of Ontario; and many nieces and nephews in Scotland and Canada. He was predeceased by his father James. Rest in peace. Jim, we love you.
