Obituary of Violet Victoria Leitch

Vickie Leitch of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2007 at the age of 86 years from complications of a broken hip. Born in Edmonton, AB, Vickie lived a rich and varied life in a number of places in Canada before coming to Calgary to retire. She did some painting, loved going to casinos and did some amateur acting when younger. Vickie was a gentle soul and well liked by all who knew her. Vickie is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law David and Vedo of Calgary, AB, J. Robert and Jan of Saanich, BC; and four grandchildren, James, Cameron, Graeme and Eliza. She is also survived by her sister Alma Kinch of Parksville, BC; and her sister-in-law Doris Bonn of Kanata, ON. Vickie was predeceased by her husband Jim, her brother Victor Deugau and her sister Olive Ironmonger.
