Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Kinch
Mary Kinch, beloved wife of Leonard Kinch of Cochrane, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the age of 85 years in Didsbury, AB.
Mary married Leonard Martin Kinch on January 7, 1939. Mary and Shorty raised their fantastic family, including Amy, Jeff and Jim in the Bottrel area. Her love of family and faith came first then her flower garden, birds and crosswords. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Her beautiful garden will always be a reminder to us of her love of God and life. As her legacy to us she left strength to love, live, forgive, laugh and her cat.
Mary is survived by fourteen children and their spouses, Pat, Mick (Lorne), Ev (Tom), Jon (Norma Jean), Bill (Judy), Philip (Shiela), Roy (Elaine), Jim (Sandy), Deb, MarieAnne (Bryce), Doug (Tracy), Kevin (Sandy), Sally, and Ross (Colleen); forty-six grandchildren and spouses; forty-five great-grandchildren and spouses; and six great-great-grandchildren; as well as a brother Gene Dolan; and four sisters, Shiela Hurtubise, Teresa McQuaig, Dorothy Springett and Agnes Degray. She was predeceased by her husband; two sons, Dale and Tommy; two grandchildren Laurin and Kristy; and a great-grandchild Tyson.
